The United Kingdom intends to hold the 2035 FIFA World Cup after becoming the only real application received by FIFA, an organization that manages international football.
Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland Select a joint application in March.
FIFA has already stated that the tournament should be in Europe or Africa.
It was believed that Spain, along with Portugal and Morocco, could put applications forward, but FIFA President Giann Infantina said the UK was the only one that had succeeded.
