Yasasvi Jaiswal breaks the silence by changing your home team: from Mumbai to Goa

The growing cricket star of India, Yasse jiswalHe has opened his decision to move from Mumbai to Goa for the next domestic season 2025-26. The young batter, who has been a main point for Mumbai Cricket, sought an unclear (NOC) certificate of the Mumbai Cricket Association earlier this week, which was a significant change in his career.

Jaiswal revealed that the decision was driven by personal growth and professional aspirations. Goa offered him an opportunity to take on a leadership role, which he saw as the fundamental one for his development. “Goa has launched a new opportunity for me and offered me a leadership role. My first goal will be to do -well for India and, as long as it is not in national service, I will play Goa and try to do them in the tournament.” Jaiswal was quoted in The Indian Express.

A hard goodbye to Mumbai

Recognizing Mumbai’s impact on his career, Jaiswal expressed his thanks for the city that shaped him to Cricer. “Everything I am today is because of Mumbai. The city has made me who I am, and all my life, I will be debt with the MCA”, he said. Despite this emotional connection, he emphasized that the opportunity presented by Goa was too significant to ignore it.

Jaiswal has an impressive domestic record with Mumbai, having marked more than 3,700 runs to an average of 60.85 in 36 first class games since its debut in 2019.
