European markets are expected to open unchanged on New Year’s Eve Tuesday.

Traders will again monitor the company’s New York-listed shares Boeing after one of their planes suffered a fatal crash in South Korea on Sunday.

Boeing shares decreased by about 2.2% on Monday. South Korean authorities are gathering conduct an investigation in the disaster that killed 179 people to determine its exact cause.

Boeing 737-800, the model involved in the crashis one of the most frequently used aircraft in the world and has a high safety record.

US Stock Futures were slightly lower ahead of the final trading session of 2024 after another booming year for Wall Street. Asia-Pacific markets fell sharply as output growth in China failed to meet expectations. However, the country’s benchmark CSI 300 was on track to close the year higher, ending three years of losses.
