Student Consistent Drugs – Another 23 Women charge

Twenty -three women were charged with allegations against serial rapist Zhengo Zuba, a Chinese candidate found guilty of London last month in addiction and rape 10 women on two continents.

Police said they had videos at the end of the lawsuit, made a potentially 50 victims – and they were trying to trace these women. However, detectives say they believe that the “group” is much greater “.

Two women who contacted the police last month with new charges also made a BBC World Service. One said that Zhoped her in his hometown in China, after releasing her drink that left her conscious but unable to talk and move. The second said that Zho also narrowed her – in London – and that she woke up to find him in the picture of a sexual attack on her.

We also talked to two women whose testimony helped the convicted person in June. “If I said earlier, there may be no victims after me,” one of them told us.

She and other women say they are fighting the fault, knowing that so many women attacked.

One of the women who are calling the new alice calls the BBC that they attacked her in London in 2021, but that she felt able to go to the police after the trial last month. “I didn’t know what this could be reported,” the national Chinese told us.

He says she met for the first time in London with other Chinese friends. In the group, everyone added each other to the popular app for social messages WeChat.

Shortly thereafter, a mutual friend invited Alice to drink in the student’s student location in Bloomsbury.

There were two bottles of spirits on the table, as she says, both open and half. She began to share drinks from one of the bottles with her friend – but she says that she drank only from another.

Alice says her girlfriend usually tolerated alcohol, but this time it was drunk very quickly and seemed to fall asleep on the floor. Alice also suddenly naked alcohol, she says.

“Usually, when you drink too much, you feel good for a while. But that night I just felt very dizzying and sleepy right away.”

Zouou persuaded her that it would not be safe to take a taxi home in the state she was, she told us and asked her to take a nap in her bedroom. She says she agreed, knowing that her friend was also in the apartment.

The next thing she says she remembers is to wake up to Zoh, which removes his pants.

“I stopped him immediately,” she says, explaining how she noticed the torch from his mobile phone over his head, and realized he was shooting her.

Alice describes attempts to leave her bedroom, but aggressively “leaned back from the door.” Zou used such strong forces to try to keep her in the bedroom, she says she “had to cling to the door with both hands.”

And only when she threatened to shout for help, he released – she told us – from Zh, and then told her not to do a “big deal” or go to the police.

According to her, Zho contacted Alice on WeChat, but did not mention the previous night. He asked her to have dinner, but she says she ignored him and they had never been in touch again.

Alice was trusted by several close friends, but she did not accept more.

“I thought that, first, you needed evidence. At second, there was something significant before you could call the police.”

Alice says the next time she saw how Zoh’s face was almost four years later in the media – after he was charged with the police.

It is difficult for foreign citizens to report on sex crimes in the UK, says Sarah EX, a trustee in the southeastern and East Asia in London.

“It would be scary for those who (with) abroad suffered a rape injury and then focus on the British legal system and NHS, or even access the services provided to the victims,” ​​she told us.

They may not understand their rights and what resources are available to them – it says – as well as concerned about the consequences, negative effects on their research, ashamed and their families, as well as potential legal problems.

Approximately a year after Alice said she was attacked, she found that one of her friends in London also knew Zu, but included all the contacts because she learned that Zoh was spiked by women’s drinks.

A friend – whom the BBC calls Ji – told us that he was “not at all” when he heard Zou’s condemned.

“A lot of friends at the time probably knew (what I did). I believe that some of our friends also knew.”

Ji told us that he accidentally drank from someone else’s glass at a party in 2022, and then became “bad” and “very sleepy”. Then Zu told him that he drank a drink, – says Ji – and was intended for a woman at a party to drink it.

Ji says that later Zou showed him a small drug bag and asked if he wanted to “cooperate with him”. He says he took from this that he wanted his help to find the girls whose drinks he could break out. Ji says he refused.

The BBC asked Ji why he initially continued to see Zh and why he did not go to the police. Ji told us that both of them had a lot of common friends, so it was difficult not to have communication together. He says he warned his friends about the zero, telling them that they would not fight with him “because he was addicts.”

J J J JS does not like to think about these memories, he says, and so he did not go to the police – adding that she believed that women’s testimonies are enough to condemn the tooth.

After all, Ji, he says he cut with him all the connections.

Another young woman who maintained a connection with the police in London and China since the trial of Zhu, “Rachel”. He says that in 2022 in his hometown, Donguano – in Guangdoan province – in Guangdong.

Rachel told the BBC that she went on a date from Zhu, meeting him on the Internet. She thought they were going to the bar, she says, but found herself in her home – a large villa, which he called one of the many properties of his family.

Turning to her back, she says she mixed her cocktail of green. Then they started drinking the game, she says, and she survived the “wave of dizziness”. Rachel told the UK police that she had brought her to the bedroom, where she could not talk and move her body, and then raped her.

The next day she thought to call the police, but decided against it. She was afraid that it would be very difficult to prove the unprepared. “It is difficult for me to prove the fact that I was ready to go to his place for drinks, and it was not a signal that I agreed to sex,” she told us.

She added that Donguano is a small place, and there was always a risk that the people she knew – her parents, relatives and colleagues – will find out and think she is “indecisive”.

We saw Rachel’s statement by the UK police. According to her, she wants her story to be considered now to encourage more victims to come forward – and because she would like to see how he was held accountable in China as well as in the UK.

CDR Kevin Savvort – who is in public defense in the capital police – said that BBC officers still work through 23 potential new cases, and that some people were “exactly identical” to those who were presented in the confiscated secret staff or in accusation.

“This suggests that his group of a violation group is actually much greater than we understood,” he says.

The second test of the convicted rapist was not excluded, and there is “definitely a case” to discuss with the Crown Prosecutor’s Office, given the number of women who are coming forward, he adds.

The BBC also talked to the only two victims that the police were able to determine before the trial – both are Chinese citizens who studied in London. Women met on social media after one of them we call Bat posted about their experience.

Beth was raped in 2023 and tried to report the crime of the capital police shortly after. But then she decided not to chase things because she felt confidence in the UK’s law and felt feeling if after her initial interaction with the police, which included a bad translation of her call 999.

“Then I didn’t know (Zhu’s name). I didn’t know his address, I could only provide general information,” she says.

In disappointment, Beth posted a warning on social media about what happened to her. Another Chinese student, “Clara,” says that “immediately” knew that he was the same person who, two years before the drug addicts and raped her after the night exit in the London Chinatown.

Each detail in the mail was pointing at the same person, says Clara: “He has an emphasis on Guangdong, he looks honest and wears the Rolex underwater mode.”

The women started to speak on the Internet, and Beth urged Clara to report what had happened to her to the police.

A few months later, the police contacted Beth to say that they are again providing the case. Clara came forward.

Police also found a video on the seized devices.

Since then, Met regretted how she initially coped with her accusations.

“We want to avoid situations where the victims feel that they may not be taken seriously or God for no believing,” says CDR Southworth. It is now underway for additional preparation for all officers of the front, he says.

Clara describes a positive experience with British police. She says she did not want to fly to London for a trial when her parents learned, so Met sent two officers to China to support her when she testified on the video.

The officers were assisted by the Chinese authorities cooperating with Met and “very supportive,” says CDR Southworth.

“I hope this can give some encouragement to the well -deserved victims wherever they are in the world, whatever you will perform.”

Beth – who gave her evidence in the court in London – says only after that she realized that she and Clara were the only two women who helped the convicted zero.

“I thought for a long time that it was not an important part of the case against the zero,” she says.

Now she is glad she testified and urges other women to speak.
