Hotel disproves assertion of carbon monoxide levels in Miller Gardner’s room

Randall zúñigaThe Director General of the OIJ said Miller could “have died of breathing” carbon monoxide in virtual press communication.

Zúñiga confirmed “high levels of carbon monoxide contamination” as part of tests conducted by “a dangerous specialist atmosphere team” from the Fire and Forensic Engineering Department performed by OIJ researchers.

“It is also important to note that there is a specialist machine room next to the room (the family), which is thought to be some sort of contamination reached the guest rooms, possibly causing the incident,” added Zúñiga.

The hotel’s statement continued, “We trust that the forensic process will be objective, clear and final explaining the true causes of this unfortunate event. For the time being, the investigation will continue with the analysis of the various theories submitted by the judicial authorities.”

The body of Miller was found in his hotel room on Tuesday 21 while watching with his family in the Manuel Antonio tourist region.

Official autopsy and toxicology reports are Not expected for months.
