After RR’s exciting victory at the BarsaPara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, a video appeared showing in Parag taking a Selfie with Ballboys from the Assam Cricket Association and then re -launched the phone. The slow penalty of the rate adds to the discomfort
In addition to the controversy, Parag was fined by the INR 12 Lakh by the BCCI for having a slow speed during the game against CSK. The penalty was imposed on article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which belongs to minimum crimes on type. Although this was the first RR offense of the season, he further promoted the control of the Captaincy of Parag.
This fine turned the second captain to IPL 2025 to be penalized by slow rates after Mumbai Indians Hardik Pandya. However, unlike the previous seasons in which the captains faced the prohibitions of repeated crimes, IPL 2025 introduced a system of monetary penalties and deust.

Mixed performance in the field in the midst of leadership scrutiny
Despite controversy outside the field, Parag contributed significantly to RR’s victory. His strong field efforts, including -an impressive capture to dismiss Shivam Dube and the decisive dam of Shimron Hetmyyer to end the persecution of Mrs. Dhoni, played a crucial role in the defense of the 182 RR runs. However, his leadership remained under scrutiny after RR lost his first two games this season: one that involved a total record granted against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
