Tiktok star Noriega Cooper He was found dead in Burbank car park, California, on June 9, 2022, less than three weeks before his 20th birthday. The Noriega family continues to support a discord channel that created- Discord Coop Council – which launched the podcast “COOP Council podcast,” which has over six thousand Youtube subscribers. Harold and Treva Noriega were filmed in a podcast chapter talking about their son and the need for more mental health advocacy and support.
“He was so silly and so funny,” said his mother Treva. “He laughed all the time.” Having asked a question as to whether or not there was enough support for mental health treatment, she and Noriega’s father said “no.” Emphatic
“When you have some form of physical issue, we go to the doctor, or an expert,” said Noriega’s father, Harold. “And with mental health, it is still stigmatized. We mourn differently, we suffer differently, we all have different mental health issues. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. Tons.”
