Brian Berlin is one of the photographers. Photo teacher at high school and comedian from New York, he first participated in Wikiportraits when he performed at the Edinburgh festival fringe.
He visited the New York Film Festival and Sandans and took pictures of Kalkin’s and Madison T -shirts.
He says he is motivated by an improvement in Wikipedia.
“Having the best photo of anyone -does not provide better information for the one who access Wikipedia,” he said to the BBC.
He may not be paid, but Brian feels that he also has something for him, saying that the work on the red track made him the best photographer.
One of his favorite impressions with the celebrity was with the star “Lord of the Rings” Ilya Wood.
“He was just such a good man, and said it was so cool that we do it.”
The Edinburgh Festival, Cannes and Nobel Prizes are some activities that have been covered so far, and the project states that his photos are viewed about 100 million times a month.
Some of the biggest names in entertainment now have the image of Wikiportraits as their Wikipedia picture.
While these pictures attract attention, the project is also proud to be photographed by people such as directors who are not presented enough who did not have Wikipedia’s painting.
Frank Song is a director and cinematography that involves photography as a hobby. His work on Wikiportraits includes photos of Florence Pi and Ben Stilora.
Also in New York, he was photographed on Cannes, Sandans and the Toronto Film Festival.
He loves his experience with the French actress and director Laetitia Dosch.

“I think she was satisfied.”
What does the future look like? Wikiportraits hopes to attract more photographers from all over the world to cover events in their countries.
