Stephen Fleming excavates the tomb of CSK loss to RCB

Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Stephen Fleming, has made a huge statement on the house lead after his strong defeat against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The main coach stated that the Super Kings have struggled to read the nature of the land on their home field in recent years.

CSK has suffered his first loss at home in the Royal Challengers since 2008. Chepuk’s pitch seemed to favor the Seamers on the spinners on Friday, March 28. The Super Kings granted 196 runs after having first chosen Bowl. In response, the home team failed to pursue the goal and suffered a strong defeat of 50.

At the press conference after the party, Stephen Fleming admitted that Chepuk’s launches have not been so favorable to spinners in recent years. Fleming added that CSK has struggled to read the conditions in his house.

“Well, as we told you for several years, there was no advantage at home in Chepuk,” Fleming said after CSK suffered his biggest defeat at home.

“We have won a couple of times at home. And we couldn’t read … We have been really honest with you. We couldn’t read the doctors here for the past two years. So it’s not new. We try to come -every day with what we get and we don’t know,” he added.

The former New Zealand pattern said that there was a time when the team could play four specialist spinners in Chepauk. He added that they need to make an additional effort to evaluate the changing passage conditions, which have become unpredictable.

“It’s not the Chepauk (old) where you can only enter and play four spinners,” said Fleming. “We have to work very hard to try to understand the nature of each pitch and it is very different.”

Noor Ahmad, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadja was expected to be an important threat. However, only Noor was delivered, collecting three doctors. Jadja ran out of wood, granting 37 runs at his three points, while Ashwin managed only one wicket for 22 runs on his two spell.

In the meantime, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Josh Hazlewood and BhuvnesHwar Kumar Pacters, combined for 4 doctors for 41 runs at 7 points.

Stephen Fleming was questioned about the Battle of CSK’s approach to the same press conference. He added that the team has as much fire force as other side. Fleming said CSK plays an aggressive cricket brand and should not be underestimated.

“We are talking about the power of fire, we have the force of fire until all the way. I do not understand this question. Just because we are not going to swing -we have a little luck, in the end, we will see in the end who wins it. It is a positive brand of cricket, without a doubt, but do not discount us.”

The Super Kings are currently in the seventh place on the point table, and their clean operation rate was successful after the strong defeat. They want to bounce again when they take on the Rajasthan Royals at the Guwahati Cricket Stadium Barsaparera on Sunday, March 30.
