Match Kkr vs LSG IPL 2025 officially rescheduled, a new date was announced

The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) has made a huge change in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 19th tournament game, which must be played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), has been re -submitted.

The KKR VS LSG party at the IPL 2025 was foreseen on Sunday (April 6) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. But due to security reasons in the city due to the festival, the party has been pushed two dates ahead of the original calendar.

Kolkata police commissioned the Bengal Cricket Association (CAP) to move the game, and therefore the BCCI was forced to move the Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Giants from the IPL 2025 to Tuesday (April 8). The game will be played in the afternoon window at 15:30.

This means that now Sunday (April 6) will be a day of head at the IPL 2025 with Sunrisers Hyderabad that welcomes Gujarat Titans at the International Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. Also, on Tuesday (April 8) it will be a double head with KKR vs LSG in the afternoon, followed by PBKs vs CSK in the evening at the Chandigarh Stadium.

Releasing the official statement, the IPL governing body stated:

“ The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) announces the Reprogramming of the Reprograming of the 19th League League of Tata Indian (IPL) 2025 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), originally scheduled for Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

“ The decision follows a Kolkata Police request to the Bengal Cricket Association (CAP) on the deployment of staff throughout the city due to parties. Authorities have recommended that the game be moved to Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 15:30 and the application has been hosted accordingly. The rest of the program is still invoked. ”
