Yoland Saldivar denied early release 30 years after conviction of the murder of Selena

On Thursday, a woman who killed the singer Selena Quintanil-Perez was denied early release from prison in Texas.

Yolanda Saldívar was sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering the singer in Tejo, who became a music icon in the United States.

When the Saldivar was convicted, she was given the possibility of parole after serving 30 years of imprisonment. On Thursday, three people of the Texas Council of Parish Liberation denied her request to be released early.

The Saldivar, which founded Fan -Bus Selena, will again be eligible for early parole in March 2030.

The jury was convicted of Saldivar for the first degree murder in 1995. She was sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole in 30 years – who arrived this year.

The Saldivar Council notes that the statement continues to pose a threat to public safety.

The nature of her crime showed “a conscious ignoring life, security or property of others.”

Saldivar was the founder and head of the fan -buzz Tejano Sherep, and led boutiques of Selena’s clothes, Selena, etc.

On March 31, 1995, Saldivar killed a 23-year-old Selena at a hotel at the Cristo, Texas.

The shooting occurred after the Selena family collided with Saldivar allegedly for theft of a fan -buzz and the singer’s clothing.

Saldivar reportedly went to the hotel after she was fired by the singer’s family about the charges.

She reportedly went to Selena’s number to pick up the business -records she needed to submit taxes, the Associated Press reports.

When Selena ran out of the room, the Saldivar shot the singer in the back.

Selena rose to glory and won the Grammy in the early 1990s when Tejano Music flourished.

She was called “Queen Tedan”, and her album dreamed of you headed the schedules after the moon was released after her death.
