Rogers greets Bellingham for a positive impact after the England call

Aston Villa’s growing star, Morgan Rogers, has talked about how to have Jude Bellingham in England’s squad facilitated his transition to international football.

Rogers, who received his first call to the senior team in England in November 2024, accredited Bellingham’s presence as an important factor to help him feel comfortable.

The two players share roots in Birmingham and their pre -existing friendship provided a sense of familiarity when Rogers adjusted to life in the configuration of the national team.

His impressive performances for Aston Villa earned him the opportunity, and then England Director Lee Carsley selecting it for the squad.

Both Rogers and Bellingham are considered to be among the brightest young talents in England, having presented to the first games of Thomas Tuchel by the national team.

The transition to international football can be puzzling, but for Rogers, having Bellingham around the experience made the experience much more manageable.

Reflecting on his integration into the workforce, said Rogers Goal: “It may not be as puzzling as you think, although you could think that it is when you go there.

“Usually it is never that bad. So yes, it was very nice (being involved with England). Obviously, what was very nice (to help Rogers to establish) Ser) Jude was there.

“It’s good to have someone you already knew, someone you can bounce with, you know and you can only be comfortable.

“So yes, it is good to have it. But being fair, because the group is so young, you know many. Or even if you do not know them personally, you have played against them. So it is easy to start the sentences and an easy way to talk to people and to know -them.”

As the season progresses, both Rogers and Bellingham will aim to play a key role for their respective clubs. Rogers, who has become a key player for Aston Villa under Unai Emery, will expect to have an impact as the team drives success on the FA CUP and the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Bellingham continues to be bright for Real Madrid, with the side of Carlo Ancelotti in containment for the League, the Champions League and the Rey Treble Cup.

With the two players who make their mark at club and international level, the future seems bright for these stars born in Birmingham.
