Wbo heavy weight champion Emanuel Navarrete (39-2-1, 32 kos) defends the belt against Charly Suarez (18-0, 10 ko) on May 10 at the Pechanga Arena San Diego.
In the co-founded, the light contestant Raymond Muratalla (22-0, 17 kos) Low by the temporary belt of 135 lb vacant against IBF Zaur Abdullaev (20-1, 12 kos).
This struggle should be the main event of this card, as Muratalla is an ascending star. This match is much more interesting than the headline. Muratalla is trying to get a world title, but so far it has been ignored by the champions.
The event will be displayed Muratalla vs. Abdullaev and Navarrete vs. Lives in espn and ESPN+, from 22:00 ET/19: 00 PM Pt.
The card is also the heavyweight contestant Giovani Santillan (33-1, 18 kos) fighting against Angel Beltran (18-2-1, 11 kos) in a ten-round attack. The fans know Santillan of their defeat to Brian Norman Jr.
Swarez, 36, is from Philippines and competed in 2016, but lost to Joe Cordina. As a professional, Suárez has broken a remarkable fighter, Yohan Vasquez, with a decision of ten rounds in 2023. Vasquez left Abdullah Mason twice in his exciting battle on November 8 last year. Unfortunately, Suárez does not fight like Mason. He is a boxer and will try to overcome Navarrete.
It is difficult to predict how Navarrete, 30, will be seen in this struggle because he was schooled by Denys Berinchyk last year, losing a 12 -round decision on May 18 in a fight that seemed to be an expense for the Ukrainian.
Navarrete seemed to be chubby and 100% clogged in this struggle. He had also acted badly in his clash against Robson Conceicao, but was given a controversial tie in 12 rounds in his fight on November 16, 2023.
Navarrete bounced off his loss in Berinchyk to stop his best Oscar Valdez in the sixth round of December 7 last year in which many boxing fans saw as useless Stiring at business level. Emanuel had easily beat Valdez for a unanimous 12 round decision on his first struggle on August 12, 2023, and there was no sense, apart from the purpose of money, so that the two would fight against a resale in 2024.
“San Diego is an incredible struggle city and we are happy to return with Emanuel Navarrete, which will happen as one of the great Mexican champions of his time,” said promoter Bob Arum. “Charly Suarez is a determined and unbeaten contestant that will have everyone in the Philippines to animate it. Raymond Muratalla is a lightweight weight of elite, but he has a high task against Abdullaev, which has been huge for several years.”
