The Kohli virated fan invaded the Eden Gardens reveals what the former RCB captain told him.

An 18 -year -old fan, Ritparno Pakhira, invaded the pitch to meet Kohli during the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2025.

Invasion incidents of land have become more common in recent times at the international cricket and the Indian Premier League. One of these cases occurred during the IPL 2025 opening between KKR and RCB in Eden Gardens on March 22, where Ritarno violated security to know the former Indian pattern.

The fan touched Kohli’s feet and received a hug before being retired for safety. After the incident, he was banned from entering Eden Gardens for the rest of the tournament.

Ritparno shared that Kohli advised him to “flee quickly” and assured that his security gently manipulated him while heard him.

“ At the moment I touched my feet, Kohli Sir turned me, he asked my name and said that Jaldi was already (run away quickly). Kolhi Sir even asked the security staff to come to catch me so he would not hit me and asked them to accompany me off the ground, ” said the 18-year-old.

Her mother, Kakali, stated that her son admires Kohli. She urged the authorities to consider her future and let go of a warning.

“He loved Kohli. For him, he is God. We are asking that the police and the judiciary be forgiven to take into account his age and career,” he told East Burdwan’s Jamalpur house.
