Todd Boehly has suggested that Chelsea’s property structure could change if there is no consensus on the future of Stamford Bridge.
The club’s leadership is currently evaluating if its historic home can be redeveloped or transferred to a new location, and the Earl court is considered to be a potential alternative.
The decision is complicated by the limited space available for large -scale construction in London.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Boehly suggested that discussions on the stadium project could determine the long -term dynamics of Chelsea’s property.
“We need to think in the long term about what we try to achieve,” said Boehly.
The redevelopment or relocation of Stamford Bridge is an important project, with Clearlake Capital, the majority owners of Chelsea, as he pledged to make it a reality.
Todd Boehly says to Bloomberg: “If you look at what really happens in Chelsea, you will see that there is a basic stability.”

However, if an agreement cannot be reached, it could lead to a divergence between the club’s co -owners.
“We have a great opportunity for the development of the stadium that we have to set aside. It will be where we are aligned or finally we decide to go in different ways,” added Boehly.
The tensions between the property group have been reported since the beginning of the season, with the two parties that previously expressed interest in buying -each other.
When asked about his position on the sale of his participation in the club, Boehly replied: “I think the state is something that is OK. I think we have achieved what we learned from each other. And, you know, I think we can really make it.”
Despite past disagreements, Boehly emphasized that Chelsea’s leadership remains unified in his club vision, citing his current position in the Premier League classification as evidence of his progress.
“If we look at the evolution of the team, we have lined up with what we try to do and what we try to build,” he said. “He is a young team, he is a team that has long contracts and all these things were new.”
