“It took me some time to accept what had happened, just another chance so easily and so quickly. But eventually I found so much happiness. “Last week, I made a mischief again.”

Joy also added that she had D&C following the miscarriage. She plans to go “back to squeeze my husband and sweet angel River Rose, which is really the reason I survive this time.”

During the January 29 chapter of their podcast “The Viall Files,” Joy and Viall divided it is a “active miscarriage” as they record. “It’s been the biggest heartbreak, I think, my life,” said Joy, 26. “I’ve never experienced something where I feel so empty inside.”

“I had seen bleeding for a while,” remembered Joy, noting that she had been “freaked” out by the blood as it was not something that happened during her previous pregnancy.

“I think I knew from the jump, but I didn’t want to accept that. Then it got heavier and heavier,” he continued. “It was like I had given birth, you know, it was as I did, basically. And I was screaming and crying, and Nick ran into the bathroom.”

“That was definitely the toughest night of my life,” continued Joy. “Just prove that is, like, something I wouldn’t want anyone. And unfortunately, I know many women experience it. I feel for these people so much because I’m so mad on my body for letting it go.”

Joy also shared that her doctor said that the fetus was married was “unhealthy.”

“It gives you some hope … if you focus on the scientific part, I think that’s what you get through it,” he said. “Which is incredibly difficult to do, because like the mother, you feel everything. From the second it’s a positive pregnancy proof, I felt that baby inside me. Until I missed it, it’s so real.”
