US President Donald Trump has been gifted with a new portrait of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin – clutching his existing picture as “really worst”.
The new portrait was not shown publicly. Kremlin’s press secretary Dmitry Pesko called it a “personal gift”, adding that only Putin himself had the right to reveal additional details.
Meanwhile, Trump came to his truth on the social network to criticize his picture hanging in the Colorado Capitol building.
The US president paid close attention to growing his image and made headlines in January, presenting an official portrait that was described by critics as serious or sinister.
Trump’s messenger Steve Witcooff confirmed to getting a new job from Moscow, saying he had been asked to transport him back to Washington.
He described the work as a picture – “Beautiful Portrait” “Leading Russian Artist” – but no longer criticized. Trump was “clearly affected by this,” he added.
The gift was confirmed by Peskov when US and Russian negotiators again talked in Saudi Arabia as part of Trump’s desire to end the war in Ukraine.
The gift emphasizes the diplomatic thaw between the two countries after Trump returned to the White House in January.
In an interview with Witkoff – who met Putin 10 days ago – said the Russian president was “merciful”. Putin told him that he added that he had prayed for Trump after an attempt against him last year.
This Trump’s life attempt, which took place during a rally in Pennsylvania, caused perhaps the most iconic image of it if you are.
The Photographer Ap Evan learned the moment when Trump with a bloody ear continued to call his fist and ordered the fans “fight, fight, fight”. This image was additionally mythologized by Trump, which used it to decorate the book cover.
Trump still publicly comment on the image that was sent by Putin, but he had no doubt in the form of a portrait he liked and disliked when he expressed his views on the image of Colorado.
The picture, which was presented in the building in 2019, was “purposefully distorted to a level that even I may have never seen before,” he wrote about “Truth” on Monday morning.
It was unlike the same artist in Barack Obama, Trump writes. Offering rare praise to his predecessor, Trump said that Obama looked “great” on his own portrait of the same artist, English Sarah Bordman.
Trump has reportedly lost up to 30 pounds (13.6 kg) during last year’s presidential campaign. He told reporters that he was “so busy” that he could not “very much”.
The Republican also used a portrait to make a political point – the coloring of Karado Governor Jerved Polys, Democrat, both “radical” and “extremely weak crimes”.
But the portrait had nothing to do with the policy, the United States noted. Instead, the result of crowdfunding, which was started by the Republican. It is reported that the portrait was instructed to fill the empty space, which was briefly filled with the image of Vladimir Putin.
BBC contacted MS Boardman for comment. Discussing her work with the Times of Times, she admitted that “there will always be anger for the president on one side. It is human nature.”
Another portrait artist told the BBC that “he would have painted things”, but the presidential portraits were nuanced, and he sympathized with the artist.
Robert Anderson, who created the official portrait of President George W. Bush, who hangs in the US National Portrait Gallery, said the audience sought to bring “luggage” depending on their feelings to the theme of the picture.
For this reason, the reaction to the work is often “very little related to the quality of art,” he said.
Trump, Mr. Anderson said: “I think it would be very difficult to paint because he has a special impression of himself, which may be very different compared to many others – probably at least half of the country.”
Polis press -secretary said that 9news said the governor was “surprised when he learned that the US president is a supporter of our Colorado Capitol and his works of art.”
The statement continued: “We appreciate the president and interested in our Capitol building and are always looking for every opportunity to improve our visitors’ experience.”
