The Delhi Capitals (DC), led by Axar Patel, opened his campaign to the Premier League India (IPL) 2025 with the match against Monday, March 24, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by Ris Hebh Pant-Lied Pant.
Delhi Capital won against LuckNow Super Giants in the exciting 4th game of the season by 1 Wicket to Dr. Ysr Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.

Bowling first in the party, DC was destroyed by Nicholas Polan and Mitchell Marsh, but things returned to restrict LSG at 209/8. As they pursued the goal, they were reduced to 3/7, but Ashutosh Sharma, Tristan Stubbs and Vepraj Nigam brilliantly beat DC to a fast -paced victory.
Speaking after the game, Axar Patel said that fans should get used to seeing this type of game under his captaincy. Said:

Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav also contributed with crucial advances, reducing LSG to 101/6 despite the fact that Nicholas Polan fights 61 of 27 balls.
