Box results: Jeremy Hill highlights Maliek Montgomery in Super Feather Pweight Clash

Super Phaterweight Maliek Montgomery (20-1, 18 kos) was upset by Jeremy Hill (22-3-1, 13 kos), losing a ten-round unanimous decision on Saturday night at Sycuan Resort & Casino in El Cajon, California.

In the first three rounds, Montgomery surpassed the hill mainly on the body. In the fourth final round, Montgomery hurt Hill with a body shot.

Hill continued to have a good round in the sixth round, moving from Orthodox to Southpaw, counteracting Montgomery, who kept pressure on him. Hill landed a combination of four punches on the seventh round in the first minute, having another good round. In the eighth round, he returned and returned.

Montgomery advanced to the ninth round, being counteracted by Hill. This was another round that Hill won. The tenth and final round was an unevenness, the best round of the fight. Hill beat Montgomery.

Super Media Southpaw Donte ‘Mr. Ko ‘Layne, 7-0 (6), defeated Southpaw Malik Calhoun, 3-3-1 (2), by a unanimous decision of six rounds.

In the first four rounds, Layne had a slight advantage. In the fifth round, Layne suffered a cut in the left eyebrow. It was near the sixth and final round, with Calhoun with advantage.

The scores were 58-56, 58-56 and 59-55. David Sullivan was the referee.

Bantamweight Richard Fernandez Jr., 3-0 (2), removed Garret Palmer, 0-2) at 1:26 in the first round of a four scheduled rounds.

In the first few rounds 30 seconds, a combination of Fernández on the chin fell Palmer for an 8 count of referee Chris Leamon. One minute in the round, a left hook on Fernández’s chin and down palm tree for a 8 -counted count. A Fernandez stroke, without a return, made Ref Leamon move away.
