Emma Heming Willis celebrates 16 years of marriage to Bruce Willis and open for the good times and the bad.
“Today marks 16 years with Life Love,” Emma, 46, wrote through Instagram On Friday, March 21, along with a picture of the pair sharing a warm embracing. “We have shared commemorative highs and devastating lows, and through it all, we’ve built something ever.”
He continued, “I am so grateful for every chapter I have had with it – and all the ones we will continue to write, in our language of unconditional love.”
Emma met the famous Dying hard Actor, 70, in 2007 while the pair worked out at a joint trainer gym. Two years later, the couple married Turkeys and Caicos before walking down the sidelines again at a civil ceremony at Beverly Hills six days later.

In 2022, the Willis family revealed that Bruce was diagnosed with Afasia and, as a result of his diagnosis, was forced to retire from acting. Next year, in 2023, the family gave fans a further update, sharing that it had received a “more specific diagnosis” of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), that there are no known treatments or cure.
“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of Afasia in the spring of 2022, Bruce’s condition has moved on and we now have a more specific diagnosis: Dementia Frontotemporal (known as FTW),” wrote Moore, Emma and their respective women in a statement. “Unfortunately, challenges with communication are only one symptom of the disease that Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally be diagnosed.”
In 2023, in honor of her husband’s 68th birthday, Emma Bruce described as “pure love.”

“He is a pure love. He is so dear. And I will always love him. Happy birthday my sweet,” he wrote through Instagram at the time. “My birthday for Bruce is that you continue to keep it in your prayers and the highest vibrations because his sensitive pisces soul will feel it. Thank you very much for loving and caring for it as well.”
At the time, she opened through her Instagram story that she spent the morning crying as a result of her husband’s diagnosis and an ongoing health battle.
“Sometimes in our lives, we have to put our big women’s panties forward and reach, and that’s what I’m doing,” he explained. “But I have times of sadness every day, grief every day and I really feel it today on its birthday.”
