Trump shakes his hand champion NCAA after the title

Some fighters in college had their own All -American moments Saturday night.

A few minutes after Peng Carter fighter Stokchi went down in history, becoming the first five -time national champion in NCAA history, he walked over to the Matt’s side on the Wells Fargo Arena to shake his hand President Donald Trump.

Starkchi defeated Northern Iowa Parker Kekkeisen, 4-3, won the 184 pound championship and its fifth NCAA title.

This is the first and perhaps the last time the college fighter reaches such a feat.

Starkchi had the fifth year right after participating in the 2021 season, when all athletes were given a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Starocci coach, Cael Sanderson, also shook his hand with the president on Saturday night.

On Friday, other Peng State Fighters talked about Trump who attended the event.

“It’s a great honor for the sport of struggle,” Josh Barr, Josh Barr told reporters. “The sport of struggle is in the place where he needs growth. He needs life and energy, and President Trump brings it.”

Mitchell Meshenbrink told reporters on Friday that, regardless of politics, he believes that Trump’s visit will help improve the viewer.

“We want to make people watch, yes? We want people to look at the struggle. We want people to drive, not only money, but also time of people, and attention is money. So, I think it’s cool. And I think it was conservative or liberal, it would be really cool.”

“The Democrat or the Republican, whoever it is, is the US president. The leader of the free world at our struggle is really cool if you think about it.”

The Championship of Fighting is Still in the center of Wells Farg Philadelphia For the first time since 2011, when PEN -Styte won it all. This has begun the dominant, which is run by Nittany Lions that are ongoing. Now they have won 12 of the last 14 titles, including four in a row, after receiving the team championship at the beginning of Saturday.

Trump met and noted several other fighters after winning the championship.

The presence of Trump at the event led to the building a national spotlight for sports fighting and electricity.

Trump entered the Wells Fargo Center and he was met by a rampant crowd that chanted “US!” A few fans broke out when Trump entered.

Musk; Founder Outkick Clay Travis; White House Secretary of the White House Carolyn Levit; Education Secretary and former WWE Linda McMahon Executive Director; Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee Jim Jordan, R-Ohio; Senator Dave McCormic, R-Pa.; And several other Trump allies were in the first row to say hello to the president.

Jordan was a champion of fighting at high school and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he twice won the male title of NCAA Division

For the second time in three years, President Donald Trump attended the NCAA fight championship. He was also present in 2023 in Tols, Oklahoma.
