Although the tastes of England and Wales have their points of view firmly in their respective classification campaigns for the World Cup of 2026, elsewhere is the small question of the League of Nations.
This season’s competition still has to decide, with the quarterfinals and play-offs, both two-legged, currently underway.
As the last eight formed the teams that finished first and second in each of the four groups of League A, the headlines Spain are in the Netherlands on Sunday in Valencia with the tie level at 2-2.

In the meantime, Germany and Italy are heading to Dortmund with the 2-1 marker in favor of Germany after the first game.
The semi -final draw has already been made, with the winners of Italy and Germany against Denmark or Portugal, while the winners of the Netherlands against Spain advance to play Croatia or France.
The semifinal matches are scheduled for Wednesday 4 and Thursday, June 5, with the final that will take place on Sunday, June 8, organized by Italy or Germany.

These links are played between the teams that ended third in League A and their sides in second place in League B, with the winner getting a place in the league next season.

The League of Nations has a direct link with the qualification of the World Cup. Four teams will qualify for a play-off to reach the 2026 tournament in Canada, Mexico and the USA through the League of Nations.
They are the four best -rated group winners who do not finish between the first two places in their world cup classification group.
