Amy schumer Had some positive praise for Mounjaro after an experience not so great with Wegovy years before.
“Three years ago, I tried Wegovy,” said Schumer, 43, in a video shared through Instagram On Friday, March 21. “I was pucking, I couldn’t handle it. I don’t know if they changed the formula, anyway. But anyway, I went on this telehealth meeting with Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try myself ‘because I wanted to recommend to my friends who are nurses and teachers.”
Midi’s health, per official websiteis a virtual care clinic that specializes in treating menopause and perimenopos.
“They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopos and my symptoms from being perimenopos have disappeared,” Schumer said. “My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to go down more, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex. So that has been great and Mounjaro has been great.”

Back WebmdWhile Mounjaro is similar to other drugs like Wegovy or Ozempic in the sense that they all include GLP-1 that assists in weight loss, Mounjaro is specifically designed to help diabetes patients with weight management. The common side effects of these drugs can include nausea and diarrhea.
“And, look, it’s not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or as serious obesity, which most of the Internet thinks I have,” said Schumer about Mounjaro. “But I’m having a really good experience with it and I wanted to keep it real with you for that.”
He concluded, “Midi Health. I liked it so much and had such a good experience that I invested in the company.”
