George Kamboses Jr. (22-3, 10 kos) seemed physically to the face, earning a 12-round unanimous decision of 12 rounds than expected against his filling opponent, Jake Wyllie (16-2, 15 kos), on Saturday night at the main event of the Sydney’s QDO Arena, Australia.
Kambos, 31, dominated the first half of the competition, but suffered a bad cut and fought the rest of the pressure on the 24 -year -old Wyllie.

Boxing News 24 was 9-3 in favor of Kamboses Jr., he did it very soon, but he separated from the pace forced by him by very young Wyllie. It had nothing to do with the cut that the little emperor sustained.
The ex -Unified Light Campion Kambos Jr. He did enough to get a decisive victory, but he was far from the representation he needed to make a participation that deserves a world title below against the heavy weight champion of the IBF Richardson Hitchins in June.
He deserves or not, Kambos will get the title against Hitchins, but it will be a unilateral topic in favor of the New Yorker. Even promoter Eddie Hearn acknowledged after Kamboses would not exceed the Hitchins in the way he was seen tonight.
“I thought it looked excellent for the first five or six rounds, but then it got the crash and unveiled a little. Wyllie went out strong,” said Eddie Hearn to FighthypeSpeaking of George Kambosa JR’s victory about Jake Wyllie tonight in Sydney.
“For me, it can be competitive against Hitchins. But after a performance like this against Hitchins, he did not hit him. Hitchins is an elite fighter. Jake Wyllie is a huge perspective.
So it’s there. Hearn is making it clear that he does not see Kambos winning against Hitchins, but fans saw George’s average sought tonight. He is not beating Hitchins or any of the 15 best contestants in the 140 -pound rankings. You could choose a contestant from the bottom of the ranking and kamboses would not win.
“Sh **-CHINS will not fight anywhere as strong as he (Jake Wyllie). Hitchins, Let’s go! I want to fight against you.
