BCCI will use the DEMERIT POINT SYSTEM at IPL for three -year cycle

While the ICC calculates the Demerit points for five years, BCCI will use it in the IPL for three years. On the accumulation of the points, the players will be granted. There will also be different slabs for suspension.

For example, if a player of four to seven points demented, then a suspension of a game will face, 8-11 points will have a suspension of two games, 12-15 points will have a suspension of three games and 16 or more points will give rise to a suspension of five games. This falls to article 7.6 of the laws.
