A Florida man Condemned in violent murders in 1993. An 8-year-old girl and her grandmother was shot dead on Thursday after the Supreme Court denied appeals.
Edward James, 63, was announced dead at 8:15 pm at the Florida State Prison near Stark. Before he was shot, he said he did not want to give a final statement, the Associated Press reports.
The jury voted 11-1 for the James sentence to death after he pleaded guilty on September 19, 1993, the killings of the 8th Tony Neuner and her grandmother, 58-year-old Betty.
