Palestinians died in new Israeli Gaza Strikes, says Hamas Agency

At least 55 Palestinians died on the night of Israeli air strikes in Gaza, Civil Defense Agency Hamas said.

This week, Israel has resumed its bombing and ground operations in the territory, and more than 430 people were killed in two days, Hamas’s Ministry of Health reports.

Hamas says the main operation announced by Israel on Wednesday is a “new and dangerous” violation of the ceasefire agreement that began in January. Israel resumed attacks on Tuesday when the transaction extension negotiations failed to progress.

Israel warned that the attacks would intensify in the gas until Hamas released the rest of the hostages.

Israel says Hamas is still holding 59 hostages, 24 of which are believed to be alive.

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Thursday that they started “purposeful activity” to create what he called “a partial buffer between the north and south” in Gaza. He called the action of “limited terrestrial operation”.

The IDF Col Avichay Adrae press secretary said the forces were located to the center of the strip known as the corridor Netzarim, which divides the northern and southern gas.

On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had “resumed in full force” and any ceasefire negotiations would be “under the fire”.

Israel and Hamas did not agree on how to get out of the ceasefire over the first stage, which ended on March 1.

Hamas disagreed with the ceasefire negotiation on the terms of Israel, although he suggested releasing a living American hostage and four hostages when the mediators tried to continue the ceasefire.

Israel has blocked all food, fuel and medical materials that are in gas in early March to put pressure on Hamas. He accused Hamas of the provisions of his strategy against Israel, though without providing evidence.

The war was caused by Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, in which about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, were killed and 251 were taken hostage. In the first stage of the ceasefire, twenty -five Israeli and five hostages were released.

Israel responded to an attack in October with a massive military offensive, which killed more than 48,500 Palestinians, mostly civilians, before Israel restored its campaign, according to the Ministry of Health Hamas. Israel’s offensive also caused a huge number of destruction of houses and infrastructure.
