BCCI announces great changes in saliva prohibition, impact player and two new balls

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) has decided to make some important changes only a couple of days before the start of next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The BCCI has decided to cancel the ban on using saliva on the ball. In addition to this rule, the Council also introduced the use of a second new ball in the second post of the game.

Although significant changes in rules were made, there was no change in rule in terms of the impact player’s rule. The rule has been under scrutiny since it appeared in the IPL and several players have spoken.
