“HB2827 is scheduled for the House Education Committee,” Miller wrote. “As the father of 7 children at school, I believe that this bill is a direct attack on families in Illinois!”

Some of the lying policies also expressed concern about HB2827. Illinois La -Shon Ford, a Democrat, told a local outlet that he was “not for that.”

“I understand why they don’t like it from the voters I called,” Ford said. “Losing their autonomy, this is a big problem that they lose autonomy over their children, and therefore they choose homework. They want to control their children’s education, including the curriculum as they teach philosophy.”
