After prolonged stay in space cosmonaut splashes to the ground

NASA Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore astronauts splashed near Talahasi, Florida, after nine months at the International Space Station.

They splashed with NASA astronaut nick heigi and Russian astronaut Alexander Gorbunov.

Williams and Wilmore were in space 286 days after technical problems on Boeing spacecraft, which was supposed to return them to the ground.

Their initial mission was intended to listen to eight days.
