Israel “resumed the fight in full force” against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
In a exhausted video, he warned that “the negotiations would continue only under the fire” and that “this is just the beginning.”
His comments came after Israeli planes launched large airstrikes against the fact that, according to the military, Hamas’s targets were in Gaza.
More than 400 people were killed in the attacks, the Ministry of Health Hamas said, and hundreds of more were injured.
The strike wave has been the most difficult since the ceasefire began on January 19.
Until now, a fragile truce has been conducted, but this new wave of attacks believes that plans to end the war may be from the table.
Avizor on Tuesday destroyed the relative peace that has felt the gas spit since January, and the hospitals were again overcome by the victims.
“The attacks were so sudden that the number of healthcare providers available was insufficient for these large strikes, and additional teams were immediately intended,” said BBC Arabic Mohammed Zaquot, Gaza CEO.
In his address, Netanyahu said that Israel tried to agree with Hamas to release Israeli hostages who are still in gas. He accused Hamas of deflection of proposals each time.
Israel and Hamas disagreed with how to accept the ceasefire agreement since the first stage ended in early March, after numerous exchanges of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners.
The transaction provides three stages, and the talks in the second stage had to start six weeks ago – but this did not happen.
Instead, the agreement was thrown into uncertainty when the US and Israel wanted to change the transaction terms to expand the first stage that would see more final hostages.
This would postpone the beginning of the second phase, which was to establish a constant ceasefire and demanded Israeli troops to withdraw from Gaza.
But Hamas rejected this proposed change to the agreement stipulated by us, Qatar and Egyptian mediators, calling it inadmissible.
On Tuesday night, Netanyahu said that Israel would continue to fight for the achievement of all its military goals – “Return the hostages, get rid of Hamas and make sure that Hamas does not pose a threat to Israel.”
The US Presidential Administration Donald Trump was conducted by Israel before he held strikes, officials said.
US National Security Council press Brian Hugz said “Hamas could release hostages to extend the ceasefire, but instead chose the refusal and war.”
Hamas warned the restoration of Israel’s violence, “sentenced” the rest of the living hostage to the gas and accused Israel of trying to force him of surrender.
The hostage group has accused the Israeli government of “refusing hostages” by launching new strikes – and protested outside the Israeli Parliament.
Israel says Hamas is still holding 59 hostages, 24 of which are believed to be alive.
On October 7, 2023, the war was caused by Hamas attacks on Israel, killing about 1,200 people and returned to gas 251 as captives.
Israel responded with a large -scale military offensive that killed more than 48,500 Palestinians, says the Ministry of Health Hamas Gaza, and caused a huge destruction of houses and infrastructure.
