The qualification process in Africa is simpler. Nine groups of six teams compete a Round Robin in the initial round. The nine winners of the group are ranked for the World Cup.
From there, the four best classified in the group will compete in a playoff, with the winner advancing the Playoffs Interconfederation.
The first round, which is still in its relatively early stages with four games played, will conclude in October, with the playoff a month later.
Three Concacaf teams are already sure of their place in the World Cup with the United States, Canada and Mexico due to the reception of the tournament. There are 30 teams that compete to claim one of the three points to unite them.
Concacaf’s classification is in its second phase, which will see the first and second team of six groups of five advantages in the third round after four games of round.
The 12 teams that progress in the third round will be divided into three groups of four for double -round matches. The three winners of the group will punch their ticket in the World Cup, while the two highest ranked runners -up will go to the interconfedestation playoffs.

Fifty-four teams attracted 12 groups of four or five, with the winners of the group obtaining the qualification.
