Delhi Capital (DC) players have left huge observations about their new pattern, Axar Patel, before the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

India veteran Karun Nair, South Africa’s star, Tristan Stubbs, and India young Batsman, Abishek Porel, shared their honest opinions on Axar Patel and hoped that Delhi Capitals (DC) had a great campaign at IPL 2025.

Axar Patel set KL Rahul to take over the Delhi Capitals captaincy

Following the departure of Ris Habh Pant by the Delhi Capitals (DC), the franchise needed a new face to lead the team to the Indian Premier League (IPL).

All-Rounder Axar Patel, who was the Vice-Capitan at IPL 2023 and IPL 2024 and was the highest retention of the franchise, appeared as the main contestant to become the employer.

Also, KL Rahul was acquired by Delhi Capitals at the Mega Auction, and he was also on the race for captaincy, taking into account the leadership experience he brought to the table.

In the end, Axar Patel was the captain and reported reports that Rahul had rejected the role as he wanted to focus on his battle.
