“My fuel tank was bigger”

Australia’s national team, Bowling Great Glenn McGrath, has shared their opinions on the India National Cricket team Jasprit Bumrah, in the midst of their injury problems.

Glenn McGrath stated that Jasprit Bumrah was inferior to him because during his game days he had had a “fuel tank” than Indians.

Jasprit Bumrah out of action for a long time

Bumrah is considered the best bowl in the world and has the ability to change the game in favor of his team. In addition, several star bats have openly expressed their fear of confronting Bumrah at the parties.

Being the best in the world has a cost, as its team is sometimes over -over and is forced to overload, which increases the possibilities of injury with the workload that is upset.

Exactly this happened during the border-Gavaskar 2024-25, as the first pater had to bring his team to his back and in the process, he suffered an injury during the last test, not being able to lean at the final entrances of the game.

The Jasprit Bumrah’s back injury turned out to be more severe than expected initially, as it has already lost the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and is likely to miss the first parties of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

According to reports, Jasprit Bumrah will only adapt in April for the Mumbai Indians (MI), and the exact date of his return to the competitive cricket has not yet been decided.

Put more stress in your body than the other bowls: Glenn McGrath

When speaking of the spear of Indian rhythm, Glenn McGrath said that Jasprit Bumrah puts more stress in his body than any other pacer, which leads him to collect injuries.

He added that, although Bumrah somehow finds a way to manage stress, it must be smarter as he gets older.

“Put more stress in his body than other bowls. He has found ways to manage it, but unfortunately not all the time. He has done so before (doing a rise of injury) and will know better than anyone (approximately) the recovery time, time in the gym. It’s not as young as it used to be, so you have to be smarter with what you do, “McGrath told The Times of India.

Must work even further off the field: Glenn McGrath

Aussie’s legend advised Bumrah to put additional hard work off the field and manage his workload because Team India needs to fully adjust whenever he is under pressure.

McGrath also stated that he had a larger fuel tank than Bumrah because he was not as quickly as the Indian Pealer.

“You have to work even further off the field. Being a fast diaper is like driving a car. If you do not end with fuel, you will run out of fuel sooner or later. My fuel tank was larger than Jasprit’s because I did not do as quickly as it. These guys know how they work at their best. If India is under the pump, they added it.”
