Trump has set unjustified tariffs on Canada – Mark Karnie

Mark Carney won the race to succeed Justin Trudu as the next Prime Minister of Canada, promising to win a trade war against US President Donald Trump.

Former Governor of Canada and British Central Banks have won three competitors in the Liberal Liberation Competition.

For most of his speech victory, the 59 -year -old Carney attacked Trump, which made tariffs on Canada and stated that he wants to make a country 51. “Americans should not be mistaken,” he said. “In trade, as in hockey, Canada will win.”

Carney is expected to swear the Prime Minister in the coming days and head the liberals in the next general election, which is expected to be called in the coming weeks.

Karni, now the Prime Minister, has never served in his chosen position.

The leadership race began in January after Trudu resigned after almost a decade. He collided with internal pressure to abandon deep unpopularity with voters who were disappointed with the housing crisis and the growth of life costs.

Carney won the first newsletter on Sunday night, taking 85.9% of the vote to defeat his closest competitor, former Finance Minister Christian Freeland.

Loud cheers broke out when the results were announced by the crowd of about 1600 party believers in Ottawa, the capital of Canada.

The party said more than 150,000 people threw the ballots in the race.

Karni, headed by the minority government in parliament, can either call himself a general election, or opposition parties can force one with a vote this month.

Liberals dragged conservatives, led by Pierre Paylieur earlier than 20 points.

But they narrowed the gap since the trade war with Trump began and is now statistically linked to the official opposition, some polls reported.

Most of Karni’s speech was focused on Trump’s “unjustified tariffs” in Canada, the largest trading partner in America.

“He attacks Canadian workers, families and businesses,” he said, causing a loud bead from the crowd. “We can’t let him succeed.”

He said his government would maintain US import tariffs until the Americans express respect. “

“I know it’s dark days,” Carney said. “We can no longer trust the dark days caused by the country.

“We overcome the shock, but let’s never forget the lessons: we have to look after ourselves and we must turn to each other. We need to gather on difficult days.”

Karny also promised to “provide our borders”, which became a key demand for Trump in their tariff confrontation.

The US president even mentioned Karnya’s attacks on his main opponent, the leader of the Conservatives Payliev.

“Pierre Pieliver’s plan will leave us divided and ready for conquest,” Carney said.

“Because a person who worshiped at the Donald Trump altar stands on his knees, not against him.”

Shortly before Carney came on the stage of Trudu, she performed with emotional farewell at the same event.

He warned that Canada was facing an “existential challenge” from the US under Trump.

The conservatives had to turn politically after Truda’s resignation, and aimed at Carney as “like Justin”, accusing the liberals of “mean” plan to win a fourth term, simply replacing his leader.

The Poilievre party also accused Carney of lies of her role in moving to the head office of Brookfield Asset Management from Toronto to New York. Karni says the official decision to relocate the firm was made after it came out of the council.

Federal Security Minister David McGiti, who supported Carney, said the BBC that “he embodies such a calm determination, but severely determined and competence to solve some of these great problems.”

“I really are very excited about what is happening. And frankly, the time of the election.”

What are Karni key policies?

The former Central banker ran to a widely centrist agenda, crossing the trudu that moved the liberals to the left.

Among the key promises of the new liberal leader is promoting major energy projects, such as pipelines that have encountered political blocks in recent years.

He promised great investment in housing and pure energy projects, as well as liberalize trade in Canada, where the barriers remain between the provinces and to diversify trade in the US.

During the race, Carney’s leadership promised to stop the size of the federal government, which increased by 40% when trudu and conducts a program review.
