Grove won his next three fights before losing before the Club Bryant Paden, 14-7-3, in eight rounds at the legendary Horizon Blue in Philadelphia. He then defeated Regillio Touur, 28-1-1, by a divided decision, winning the U.S. New York State title.

Grove then lost to WBC’s World Super Feather champion, Azumah, Professor “Nelson, 34-2-1, by decision in Nevada. He returned well gaining his next five fights, including the former IBF Champion of heavy weight Troy Dorsey, 12-6-4, on the blue horizon.

Grove in his next two fights stopped the world champion of 3 currencies, Jeff Fenech, 26-1-1, in Australia. Again “Down Under”, he defeated the former Australian champion and the Commonwealth, Lester Ellis, 35-3, by a divided decision. In addition, he defeated the continental champion of the WBC, Pete Taliaferro, 24-1, by divided decision, to Mississippi.

Grove finished his career 2-5 stopped four times. First in a WBC title World Lightweight of Miguel Angel Gonzalez, 34-0. Then, by the WBA Intercontinental Champion, Angel ‘El Diablo’ Manfredy, 12-2-1, the heavy weight champion of IBF Arthur ‘Thunder’ Gatti, 27-1 and in his latest struggle at IBF and WBC Champion Light Welterweight Russia born in Australia Kostya ‘Thunder Under Tszyu, 19-1, 19-1, time.
