Sunny shared a picture of her on a beach without a bikini on Saturday, December 21. “Chapter closed✨,” she wrote. “Happy holidays and happy new year to all of you in my life and to those who have supported me through their phone screens 🫶🏻.”
The former reality star noted that it was “time to look forward,” adding, “See you in 2025 #whatnext.” Sunny’s cheeky upload on social media came shortly after Ben confirmed they were done called it quits after before sparking split rumors.
“I need to kindly ask people to respect my space right now and stop the negative comments and messages,” the bosun wrote via Instagram Story. “It’s been a very difficult couple of weeks and some things are private between two people. I understand that a relationship has been followed publicly and followed by many. Thank you for understanding.”
Below Deck has followed various relationships and flings throughout the franchise – but some stars found love with each other outside of their seasons. Ben and Sunny met while filming season 11 oh Below Deck. After first forming a casual relationship, their situation became more complicated when Ben was promoted. Ben was also still hung up on his old costar Camille’s Lambwho reached out to him while still hooking up with Sunny.
“Being back on board Dewi Sant, it’s like going for a walk down memory lane. With Camille, it was this sudden spark. We were very much like children in love. I’ve just been thinking about her lately,” Ben told cameras during an episode of the hit Bravo show in April. “Maybe part of me believed there could be something because we were great together. See what women have done to me?”
Camille eventually shut Ben down and he wasn’t sure would he stay with Sunny.
“It’s a bit of a roller coaster between Sunny and I. Sunny said she didn’t want a relationship. She was there to a large extent just to enjoy the experience and what was going on,” she said at sight360 Us Weekly in March. “And then as things progressed, we both got a bit more involved and it was quite difficult for me to tell her that I needed to focus on my job because I’m stepping into this leadership role. “
The cast of Below Deck and its spin-off series will do just about anything for love…or at least a fun crew hookup. He continued: “I think she’s taken a lot of things personally when it should have been for work and I really want to see her after the show. So that’s where my head is at the moment. We want to do work first and then we can see what can blossom after that.”
By the time season 11 endedBen confirmed that he and Sunny reconciled off screen.
“Yes, you guessed it 😜 we’re still together! Finally, we can let go of the secrecy that has been kept for the past 15 months,” he captioned a May Instagram post of him and Sunny. “We want to thank you all for the support throughout season 11 @belowdeckbravo it’s been great to relive the season and start a relationship.”
