Jose Ramirez says Devin Haney made an error if he chose him as an opponent for his fight against heavy weight of 144 pounds on May 2 on the fatal fury card in Times Square in New York City.
Ramirez (29-2, 18 kos) claims that he will attack Haney (31-0, 15 kos) without stopping without any rest as Ryan Garcia did last April. Jose says after defeating Haney, He wants to assume the winner of the Ryan vs. Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero Clash. These two are heading the event on May 2.
Turki Alralikh has not said if the Haney-Ramirez struggle will determine who will be the next opponent of Victor Garcia-Rolly. This would be a more logical way to do it.
Devin’s career would be in the mud If you are hit by the former WBC and Wbo Light Welterweight champion, Ramirez, as this struggle is supposed to be a warming for the resuscitation of money with Ryan Garcia in October. Some believe that the only reason that Haney chose to sit on the sidelines since his loss in Kingry on April 20 last year is that he did not want to ruin his chances of going back.
Trust check
Haney’s self-confidence can be shot after Ryan threw his roof with him in this fight, leaving him three times in a massacre at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Why has Devin chose to renounce his 140 lb WBC title and sit inactive for a whole year if he still believed in himself? This loss for Ryan may have taken more out of Haney than physical punishment.
“Once I won Devin Haney, I get Ryan and Rolly’s winner,” said Jose Ramirez Esnews About his vision after his fight against Devin Haney on May 2. “Devin Haney is a great fighter, but he fought 135 against younger boys.
“ I caused a lot of guys who fought, such as (George) Kambos. I only know the type of fighter I am. I don’t worry about anyone. His good I had accepted this struggle because you wanted to fight better, not because you wanted to fight a tune, ” Ramírez said about his message in Haney. “If so, it was a great mistake. I’m looking forward to – No, “Jose said when he told him he did not go against Haney as Ryan Garcia did in his fight on April 20 last year.
“Like Rolly,” said Ramírez, who predicted that Rolando “Rolly” Romero defeat Ryan Garcia at the Times Square event. “Ryan is a good fighter. It’s fast, it doesn’t have too much tools in your toolbox, but you use them very well. This makes him dangerous. It’s a hard struggle. “
This could be for Devin. If you lose Ramirez by tie, your career could end. To continue, it would depend on whether it could find a way to melt at 135 as in good times and reinvent itself against younger boys.
