Yun was spotted on Saturday, waving his hand, squeezing his fists and bowing to the supporter who shouted his name and waved South Korean and American national flags. He entered a black minibus to go to the residence in Seoul.

In his statement, Yun stated that “the courage and decision of the Central District Court on the correction of illegality were highly appreciated,” what seemed to be a reference to questions about his arrest. He also thanked his fans and called on the people who put on a hunger strike against his impeachment to end it.
The Constitutional Court discusses whether it should be officially dismissed or resumed as president. If the court supports his impeachment, elections for a new president will pass for two months.
Seoul’s Central District Court said that on Friday, he accepted the request to be released from prison, pointing to the need to resolve the issues on the legality of the President’s investigation.

The court in Seoul also said the legal period of his official arrest ended with his charge.
Yoon’s release came out of prison after the prosecutor’s office chose the appeal in the ruling of the Seoul Central District Court. South Korea’s law allows prosecutors to continue to detain the suspect when they appeal, even after the arrest is canceled.

The main liberal opposition Democratic PartyHe headed the impeachment of the young in December, criticized the prosecutor’s office for the decision not to appeal, calling them the “services” of Yun, who is a former Attorney General.
The Democratic Party spokesman Cho Hun-Ray called on the Constitutional Court to reject Jona as soon as possible to avoid further state unrest.
