Porton’s share offered an emotional tribute to her late husband, Carl Thomas Din, who died earlier this week.
The legendary performer of the countries released a new song called if you weren’t there at Instagram Post on Friday.
“I fell in love with Carl Dinen, when I was 18,” Porton wrote. “We spent 60 valuable and significant years together. Like all lovely love stories, they never end. They live in memory and songs. It will always be a star of my life history and I dedicate this song.”
The couple was together six decades before he died on Monday at the age of 82.
Her voice trembles when she sings a new song “If you weren’t there / wherever I was? / Without your trust, love and faith.”
“You made me Dream / more than I dared,” she continues. “And I wouldn’t have been his / if you weren’t there.”

Porton, 79, expressed gratitude for the support of fans after her husband’s death.
“This is a love note for family, friends and fans,” she wrote at Instagram on Thursday. “Thank you for all the messages, the cards and the flowers you sent to give your respect for the loss of my beloved husband Carl. I can’t personally turn to each of you but just know it’s the world for me. He is now in the hands of God and I’m fine with that. I will always love you.”
The singer, known for the songs, such as 9-5 and Jole, met Din outside the laundry on the first day when she came to Nashville as an 18-year-old beginner.
“I was surprised and excited that, talking to me, he looked at my face (for me a rare thing),” Porton said, remembering his first meeting.
“It seemed really interested in finding out who I am and what I am.”
Two years later, in 1966, the couple got married.
They lived a personal life – Dina rarely saw in public – and had no children together.
