Shubman Gill the Lone Indian as ICC announces the month’s player to candidates in February 2025

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced on Friday (March 7) the candidates for the Player of the Month Prize of the ICC of February 2025 for both male and women categories. Shubman Gill is the only Indian player nominated in the men’s and female category.

Three players from Australia, one of both India and New Zealand, and one from Thailand have been nominated for the Player of the Month Prize of the ICC Award by February 2025.

The New Zealand star Glenn Phillips, the Steve Smith’s Australian Australian icon, and the Young Sense of India, Shubman Gill, are in claiming to win the ICC Player of the Month in the men’s category for their remarkable performance last month.

On the other hand, Thailand 21-year-old spinner, Tipatcha Putthawong, 21, competes with Australian stars Alana King and Annabel Sutherland for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month in February 2025 after his impressive performance in the Nepal women’s tri-nation series.
