A motion for sexual harassment against Senate Nigeria’s President rejected

The petition filed by the Nigerian Senator claims that the Senate president was rejected.

Hunville Akpabio, one of the country’s oldest politicians, denied the allegations against him Natasha Akpoti-Uougan on Wednesday.

The Ethics Committee, which was intended for viewing in the petition, provided procedural violations and legal restrictions on the hearings afterwards.

“The petition is contrary to the rules of the Senate and cannot entertain,” said the chairman of the Ethics Committee Senator Imasuen.

The senator claimed that the Akpobio behaved as a university teacher who had not consistently failed his student who refused to sleep with him.

“By no means, I have never pursued any woman. I was very well brought up by my late single, and I always supported respect for women. I was even awarded the most friendly to the gender governor in Nigeria,” he said.

The problem caused a great deal of discussion in Nigeria, and many called for an independent investigation.

In a report on social media, one of the predecessors of the Acpobio president Bukola Saraki said the raised questions were too serious to just discard.

Earlier on Wednesday, two groups of participants of the rally, who gathered at the Assembly site in the capital, Abuja – one support of the ACPABIO, and the other in support of his colleague, chanting: “Akpobio must go.”

Undurant Senator used a plenary session on Wednesday to submit a petition calling for an investigation into the ACPABIO behavior.

As the president, it was the Akpobio that allowed Undogan to submit a motion.
