Australian Superstar of Cricket Steve Smith has announced his withdrawal from one day international (hate) Following the departure of Australia from the ICC Champions Troophy 2025. Smith’s decision marks the end of an illustrious hate career he spanned for a decade, during which he settled as one of the best Batsmen of his generation.
Smith played a key role in the Australian cricket, significantly contributing to the success of the team in the hate format. More than 170 games, accumulated 5,800 runs to an impressive average of 43.28, including 12 centuries and 35 half a century. His highest score to hate was 164, won against New Zealand in 2016. Smith’s capacity of shake was complemented by his part -time bowling, where he took 28 doctors with an average of 34.67, showing his versatility as a SUV.
Smith’s Odi Career was marked by numerous successes, especially his contributions to Australia’s victories in the 2015 and 2023 ICC Cricket World Cups. Despite moving away from the hatred, Smith will continue to play Test Cricket and T20 International, where he thinks he still has much to contribute.
Smith’s focus is now moving to the red ball cricket, with the next End of the World ICC Test Championship (WTC) Against South -Africa. Its continuous participation in the T20 and the test formats will be a significant advantage for the Australian team, as their exceptional battle skills and their leadership qualities.
