Almost 3,000 delegates from provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and armed forces participate in the weekly meeting. They cite the decisions that have already been made at the closed door leaders.

However, the meeting signals the priorities of China’s Communist Party for the next year.

China’s slow economy, its investment in high -quality technologies and fare from US President Donald Trump is expected to be high on the agenda.
