Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has revealed its new Jersey for the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They are certain new changes to this jersey of the previous IPL season.
The star cricketers of KKR Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Vaibhav Aora, Anukul Roy, Manish Pandey, Mayank Markande and Luvnith Sisodia could be seen by practicing the new kit during the jersey shot video shared in the social media account.

KKR presents New Jersey with three stars
The three stars of the sweater show their three title wins in the history of the IPL. They won their first title in 2012 and then repeated the feat in 2014. Both wins of the title were under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir.
His last victory in the title took place in 2024 when they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final of the season. Interestingly, Gautam Gambhir was again involved in the team, but as a mentor this time.
KKR announced the official jersey launch video where you can see the team fans saying that the “number 3” repeatedly related to the three titles won by the franchise so far.
In the meantime, they are trying to keep up with expectations and continue their impulse since last season.

Above all, KKR has also registered three stars around Gemini’s constellation, each symbolizing his title wins in 2012 (Korbo), 2014 (Lorb) and 2024 (Jeetbo).
“The stars have been registered with the date we won each of the three titles – May 27, 2012, June 1, 2014 and May 26, 2024,” said Binda Dey, KKR marketing chief in a statement.
What does the golden badge indicate?
The sweater also has a special gilded badge on his arm, apart from having three stars in the sweater. The badge makes them different from the others, as they enter the tournament as champions defenders.
The golden badge has been introduced by the IPL to recognize the champions defending. KKR won the title last year and will enter the next edition as a defense champion.
KKR won the IPL 2024 season in a convincing manner, as they won the title under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer. They passed the group stage and then brought their game to another level to the playoffs and the final.
Captain is not yet to be announced
Kolkata Knight Riders is one of the two teams that has not announced its captain for the IPL 2025 season. Last season captain, Shreyas Iyer decided to enter the Mega-Subhasta last year and was finally collected by Punjab Kings.
Ajinkya Rahane, Venkates Iyer Rinku Singh, Sunil Narine and Rovman Powell, are currently some of the options, but a single name has not yet been completed. They will play the IPL 2025 opening game against RCB at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on March 22 to mark the start of a new season.
