MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is reportedly considering removal Pete Rose From the forbidden list of the league, a few months after the game leader has died at the age of 83.
Rose family filed a petition on MLB on January 8 to remove it from the list, ESPN reports Saturday. Baseball Legend Jeffrey Lenkov said the petition was filed after the daughter of Rose met with Manfred and the Patty Courtney press.

Earlier, Manfred rejected Rose’s application in December 2015 after they met. Lenkov called the meeting with MLB Braans as “productive” and said that Manfred was “respectful” and merciful “in the case.
