The star of India, turned Kohli, could have become one of the largest superstar in the game, but his journey to this point began in Delhi. He started playing Professional Cricket in Delhi and also represented the team nationally.
Virated Kohli is about to complete a mass milestone in his hate career. He will play the 300th game of his career Hate when he takes the pitch against New Zealand in the last game of the ongoing Champions Trophy phase.
Before playing the milestone game, Kohli asked if he is still a boy from Delhi de heart despite playing so much international cricket throughout his career.
The 36 -year -old man replied saying that he is still a boy from Delhi in the heart, but this is not the case each time. He also explained the meaning of “Dilli da Munda (Delhi Boy)” which specifically means having a focus without stress.
“I don’t know if I’m a prototypical Dilli da Munda (Delhi Boy) at all times. Being a dilli da Munda, the line in itself means having an approach without stress towards things,” Kohli said during a conversation with ICC.
“New experiences in life. I went to many places, so I would not say that I am out and always a boy from Delhi. (But) at times I am. Yes,” he added.
Wanted Kohli is known for his typically aggressive approach to play and can also be reflected through his methods. He likes to be bombed when he is beating or in the field and aims to give his best every time he is in the field.
When India’s main coach Gambhir was asked about the Delhi style, he explained it thoroughly. Gambhir believes that Delhi’s players are always taught to win all the games that play regardless of their stature.
“Delhi’s spirit is very simple: try to win every time you walk in the Cricket field. This is what he taught us when we grew in Delhi,” Gambhir said.
Gautam Gambhir is also from Delhi and is also known as the burning character. I was not afraid to bring the game to opposition during their game days. He is now the main coach of India and seeks to instill the same aggression on the team.
Wanted Kohli scored a magnificent century against Pakistan in the second game of India of the ongoing champions trophy. Kohli was at his best against the green men as he filled the watch with another masterclass chasing.
He got four through the covers to complete his hundred and bring India to a massive victory over Pakistan’s rivals. Kohli scored 122 runs in two games at an average of 122 and a strike rate of 81.87.
The next game against New Zealand will be the 300th hatred of Kohli’s incredible career. It has marked 14085 runs so far in 299 hatred with an average of 58.20 and a strike rate of 93.41 with 51 hundred and 73 fifty.
