Former Pakistan coach Mohsin Khan surprised the world of Cricket with his bewildering statement to Virat Kohli as he defended the fire of Babar Azam. In the meantime, Pakistan’s former coach, Intikhaban Alam, has proposed his concern for the role of Babar Azam at the top of the order, criticizing the decision to push him to the opening slot, especially at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He thinks Babar fits best at number 3, where he could anchor the entrances and build a great score.

Intikhaban Alam asks why in Earth will you send Babar Azam to number 1?
Alam also wondered why Babar agreed to change the possibilities of Pakistan in the tournament. Intikhaban Alam said Sportstar said, “Why will you send it to number 1? It is not an opener. The number 3 is the spine of a battle line, and the best bet should be in this position and the coaches should say -they stay throughout the duration and have a century.”
Alam signed himself by saying, “If he had a hundred and someone was encrypted at the age of 50 or 60, you would have almost 300 runs on the board and so you should play. Even Babar should have refused to change his battle position. I don’t know who convinced him to open the tickets. It was a bad decision.”
