Israel approves the temporary expansion of gas ceasefire

The Israeli government has approved the temporary expansion of the gas ceasefire over the next six weeks, covering Muslim Ramadan and Jewish PCs.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet made a statement shortly after the first stage of the agreed ceasefire ended at midnight on Saturday.

Netanyahu’s office states that as part of the proposal to cease the US President Donald Trump’s fire, Steve Witco, half hostages who still kept Hamas in Gaza – both alive and dead – will be released on the first day.

The rest of the hostage will be released “if the agreement on the permanent ceasefire will be reached.”

Hamas did not publicly commented on the last Israeli step.
