The deposit seemed visibly drained today and could say that it would be a lot of weight during the night after rehydrating. It exceeded it, reaching so low to 133.8 pounds instead of near the full limit of the division. This is a fairly basic title defense for Davis, and it is not one of its harshest to make it so light.

The only thing that makes sense is that Tank wants to be lighter, knowing that it will have to be more due to Roach’s technical skills. He will not come to Davis, looking for him to direct him in the way Ryan Garcia, Isaac Cruz, Frank Martin and Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero did.

WBA’s heavy weight champion, Jose ‘Rayo’ Valenzuela (14-2, 9 kos), weighed near where he was in his last fight against “Pitbull” Cruz last August in Los Angeles. Rayo did a lot in this struggle and made it almost impossible for Cruz to put a glove to him. If he struggles like this Saturday night, Russell will have many problems. This could be a unilateral struggle.

“He is a striker like all I struggled. That’s everything,” said Gervonta Davis in weightSpeaking of Lamont Roach. “Look, he is shown. He has no energy in any other type. The same old man, I give to the people what they want to see. Explosive Knockouts, and so. This is what comes to me with me. This is what we will see on Saturday night.”
